Mac IPTV Setup Guide

Set up Aero IPTV on a Mac using an IPTV player from the Mac App Store or its developer's official website — including the new security steps in macOS Sequoia and later.

Before You Start

  • Required information

    Your Aero IPTV username, password and server URL, sent by email or WhatsApp within an hour of your order.

  • Compatible device

    A Mac with an up-to-date version of macOS

  • Internet connection

    A stable connection: about 10 Mbps for Full HD, 25 Mbps for 4K. Ethernet is best for TVs.

  • Supported application

    The player app named in your setup email

    Step 1

    Install the required application

    Check the Mac App Store first: search for the player named in your setup email and select Get. If it's only available from the developer's website, download it there; for a disk image (.dmg), open it and drag the app into your Applications folder.

    Open the application

    Open the app from Applications or Launchpad. If macOS says it can't verify an app you downloaded from the developer's official website, click Done, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to the app's name. In macOS Sequoia and later, the old Control-click shortcut no longer works for this.

    Enter the information supplied after purchase

    In the app, choose to add a new user or playlist. Pick Xtream Codes if the app offers it — it loads live TV, movies, series and the TV guide most reliably — and enter the server URL (including http:// and the port), username and password exactly as they appear in your setup message. Details are case-sensitive; typing them by hand avoids hidden spaces from copy-and-paste. Prefer a quick test first? You can watch IPTV with VLC using an M3U link.

    Step 4

    Complete configuration

    Save and give the app a minute to download your channel list and TV guide — the first load takes longest. Then check the time zone on your device so the guide shows the right programs, and add your most-watched channels to Favorites.

    Start using the service

    Open Live TV and choose a channel. If something doesn't load, restart the app once and check your connection, then see the troubleshooting section below. Our support team is available 24/7 on WhatsApp.

Mac Troubleshooting

"Open Anyway" isn't shown
The button appears in Privacy & Security for about an hour after you try to open the app. Try opening the app again, then return to the settings.
Video won't play
If the app asked for local network access and you declined, allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.
Watch on your TV
Use AirPlay from the Control Center to an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV, or connect the Mac with an HDMI cable.
Choppy playback
Plug in your MacBook, close other apps and browser tabs, and use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

Mac Setup FAQ

Why won't my Mac open the IPTV app?

macOS blocks apps it can't verify. If the app came from the developer's official website, use System Settings, Privacy & Security, Open Anyway. Mac App Store apps open normally.

Does the Control-click trick still work?

Not in macOS Sequoia and later. Apple removed it; use Open Anyway in Privacy & Security instead.

Can I use the same app on Mac and iPhone?

Some IPTV players, such as IPTVX, have versions for Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Check the App Store listing.
