Smart TV IPTV Setup Guide

Set up AeroIptv on a Samsung or LG smart TV using an IPTV player from your TV's own app store. Smart TVs can't install Android apps, so use the player named in your setup email. Using Vizio, TCL, Hisense or a Roku TV? See the notes in the FAQ below.

Before You Start

  • Required information

    Your AeroIptv username, password and server URL, sent by email or WhatsApp within an hour of your order.

  • Compatible device

    A Samsung (Tizen) or LG (webOS) smart TV connected to the internet

  • Internet connection

    A stable connection: about 10 Mbps for Full HD, 25 Mbps for 4K. Ethernet is best for TVs.

  • Supported application

    The player app named in your setup email

  • TV account

    Samsung TVs ask you to sign in with a Samsung account before downloading apps.

    Step 1

    Install the required application

    Samsung: press Home, go to Apps, select the search icon and type the name of the player from your setup email, then select Install. LG: press Home, open Apps (called LG Content Store on older models), select the search icon in the top-right corner, search for the player and select Install.

    Open the application

    Select Open (Samsung) or Launch (LG). Many smart TV players show a Device ID or MAC address the first time they open instead of a login form — leave that screen visible or write the ID down.

    Enter the information supplied after purchase

    In the app, choose to add a new user or playlist. Pick Xtream Codes if the app offers it — it loads live TV, movies, series and the TV guide most reliably — and enter the server URL (including http:// and the port), username and password exactly as they appear in your setup message. Details are case-sensitive; typing them by hand avoids hidden spaces from copy-and-paste. If your app shows a Device ID or MAC address instead, you add the playlist on the app developer's official website using that ID — or send the ID to us on WhatsApp and we'll help you connect it.     Complete configuration

    Save and give the app a minute to download your channel list and TV guide — the first load takes longest. Then check the time zone on your device so the guide shows the right programs, and add your most-watched channels to Favorites.

    Start using the service

    Open Live TV and choose a channel. If something doesn't load, restart the app once and check your connection, then see the troubleshooting section below. Our support team is available 24/7 on WhatsApp.

Smart TV Troubleshooting

The app isn't in my TV's store
App availability depends on your TV's model year and region. Message us for an alternative player, or plug in a streaming device such as a Google TV box.
The app asks for an activation fee
Some smart TV players charge a one-time fee to the app developer after a free trial. It's separate from your AeroIptv plan.
The TV is slow or the app freezes
Unplug the TV from the wall for 60 seconds — standby doesn't clear memory. On LG TVs, turn off Quick Start+ in the general settings so restarts clear memory properly.
Clear the app cache on Samsung
Go to Settings → Support → Device Care → Manage Storage, select the app and choose Clear Cache (menu names vary by model year). On LG, uninstall and reinstall the app instead.
Buffering
Connect the TV with an Ethernet cable — TV Wi-Fi is often weaker than a phone's. More fixes in IPTV buffering on smart TV.

Smart TV Setup FAQ

Can I install TiviMate or Android apps on a Samsung or LG TV?

No. Samsung TVs run Tizen and LG TVs run webOS, so they only install apps from their own stores. Use a player from your TV's store, or add a Google TV streaming device for Android apps.

What if my TV is a Vizio, TCL, Hisense or Roku TV?

Vizio SmartCast and Roku TVs don't offer most IPTV players, so plug in a streaming device. TCL and Hisense Google TV models install apps from Google Play — follow the Android TV / Google TV guide.

Do I need a Samsung account to download apps?

Yes. Samsung TVs ask you to sign in with a Samsung account before downloading apps from the Apps store.
