Fire TV IPTV Setup Guide

Set up Aero IPTV on an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube or Fire TV smart TV. The newest Fire TV Sticks run Amazon's Vega OS and only install apps from the Amazon Appstore — this guide covers both.

Before You Start

  • Required information

    Your Aero IPTV username, password and server URL, sent by email or WhatsApp within an hour of your order.

  • Compatible device

    Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube or a Fire TV smart TV

  • Internet connection

    A stable connection: about 10 Mbps for Full HD, 25 Mbps for 4K. Ethernet is best for TVs.

  • Supported application

    The player app named in your setup email

  • Amazon account

    Your Fire TV must be signed in to an Amazon account to download apps. You may be asked to verify it.

    Step 1

    Install the required application

    From the Fire TV home screen, select Find, then Search (or hold the voice button and say the app's name). Select the player named in your setup email and choose Get or Download — some models show a shopping-cart icon instead.

    Open the application

    Select Open when the download finishes. To find it later, open Your Apps & Channels from the home screen; highlight the app, press the Menu (☰) button and choose Move to bring it to the front.

    Enter the information supplied after purchase

    In the app, choose to add a new user or playlist. Pick Xtream Codes if the app offers it — it loads live TV, movies, series and the TV guide most reliably — and enter the server URL (including http:// and the port), username and password exactly as they appear in your setup message. Details are case-sensitive; typing them by hand avoids hidden spaces from copy-and-paste.

    Complete configuration

    Save and give the app a minute to download your channel list and TV guide — the first load takes longest. Then check the time zone on your device so the guide shows the right programs, and add your most-watched channels to Favorites.

    Start using the service

    Open Live TV and choose a channel. If something doesn't load, restart the app once and check your connection, then see the troubleshooting section below. Our support team is available 24/7 on WhatsApp.

Fire TV Troubleshooting

The player isn't in the Amazon Appstore
On Fire OS models you can install it with the Downloader app — see how to use the Downloader app on Fire TV. Vega OS models (such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Select) only install Appstore apps; message us for a player that's available on your model.
Can't find Developer Options
Go to Settings → My Fire TV (called Device & Software on some newer models) → About, highlight your device name and press Select seven times. Then Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps lets you allow a specific app.
Downloader is missing from Install Unknown Apps
This was a known Fire OS bug; Amazon began rolling out a fix in September 2026. Install updates from Settings → My Fire TV → About → Check for Updates and try again.
The app is slow or freezes
Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications, select the app, then Force stop and Clear cache. Restart by holding Select + Play/Pause for about five seconds.
Buffering

How do I know if my Fire TV runs Vega OS?

Check Settings, then My Fire TV (or Device & Software), then About. Vega OS devices, starting with the Fire TV Stick 4K Select, only install apps from the Amazon Appstore.

Is sideloading apps on Fire TV safe?

Only install apps from their developer's official website, and only turn on Install Unknown Apps for the specific app you use to download them, such as Downloader.

How do I restart a Fire TV Stick?

Hold Select and Play/Pause on the remote for about five seconds, or go to Settings, My Fire TV, Restart.
